AIStarter User Agreement

1. Acknowledgment and Acceptance Thank you for using AIStarter, a free AI project management platform designed to facilitate the quick and easy downloading, installation, and sharing of popular open-source AI projects on Windows, Mac, or Linux systems. By using this software, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Terms of Use 2.1 By using AIStarter, you confirm that you have carefully read and agreed to these Terms of Use. You are solely responsible for any legal or regulatory liabilities arising from or associated with data generation, collection, processing, and usage through AIStarter. AIStarter disclaims any responsibility for such actions. All activities and consequences related to the use of AIStarter are borne by the user individually. 2.2 You agree to strictly abide by all applicable laws and regulations and refrain from using this software for any illegal activities, including but not limited to violating fundamental constitutional principles, compromising national security, damaging the honor and interests of the state, inciting ethnic hatred, undermining religious policies, spreading rumors, disseminating obscene information, or other unlawful acts.
3. Disclaimer 3.1 Neither AIStarter, its authorized agents, nor related third parties shall be liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of this software. All consequences of using AIStarter are borne solely by the user. 3.2 AIStarter reserves the right to modify and update this User Agreement at any time. Any changes take effect immediately upon publication, and your continued use of the software constitutes acceptance of the modified agreement.
4. Legal Liability 4.1 Violation of these Terms of Use may result in termination of your rights to use AIStarter, and you may be subject to corresponding legal responsibilities. Using AIStarter signifies that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
5. Software Acquisition, Installation, and Updates 5.1 Users should obtain this software through the official AIStarter website or designated partner platforms. 5.2 To enhance user experience and improve service content, AIStarter will occasionally provide software updates, which may include software replacement, feature enhancements, or version upgrades. 5.3 AIStarter reserves the right to update the software or alter or restrict certain functionalities without prior notice to users. 5.4 Older versions of the software may cease to function after newer versions are released. Users are advised to download or update to the latest version to ensure the proper operation of the software.
6. Account Registration and Management 6.1 Users can register their own accounts or log in via third-party account authorization. Account ownership belongs to the AIStarter platform, and users only enjoy usage rights. 6.2 Users must manage their account information properly and bear full legal liability for all activities conducted under their accounts.
7. Rights Declaration 7.1 AIStarter holds the ownership and intellectual property rights to this software, including but not limited to the name, logo, trademark, and icons of AIStarter. 7.2 Users are permitted to use this software only for non-commercial purposes and are prohibited from modifying, adapting, translating, or reverse-engineering the software.
8. Obligations and Limitation of Liability 8.1 Users must not use this software for any illegal activities. 8.2 Users may seek consultation regarding the use of this software from AIStarter.
9. No Warranty Statement 9.1 AIStarter does not guarantee compatibility with all software, hardware, and systems. For software downloaded from unofficial sources, AIStarter assumes no responsibility.
10. Agreement Changes and Notifications AIStarter reserves the right to modify this agreement at any time. The latest version of the agreement will be published within the software product, and once published, it is considered notification to all users. Your continued use of the software indicates your acceptance of the revised agreement.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution This agreement is governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. In case of any dispute over the content or execution of this agreement, both parties should endeavor to resolve it amicably; if no agreement can be reached, either party may submit the matter to the courts where the author of AIStarter is domiciled for adjudication.
12. Community and Feedback We value user opinions and feedback. You may contact us via QQ, WeChat, forums, Telegram, Twitter, and Discord. Your support is the driving force behind our continuous improvement and development.
13. Privacy and Data Processing AIStarter will collect, process, and use your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details.
14. User Conduct Users must not engage in any behavior that could disrupt the normal operation of AIStarter, including but not limited to excessive resource consumption, spreading viruses, or malicious software.

   15.Update Date: July 21, 2024

This User Agreement becomes effective as of July 21, 2024, superseding and nullifying all previous versions of the User Agreement. Users who continue to use our services after this date are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this latest version of the User Agreement. We recommend that all users regularly review the User Agreement to stay informed of any changes that may affect your rights and obligations. Previous versions of the agreement are no longer legally binding, and all rights, obligations, and responsibilities between users and the service provider are governed by the current terms of this agreement.
